The future of news media has never been more exciting to me.
I am a multifaceted young journalist looking to become a web producer or a sports reporter with an online bent. I'm currently interning at The Grand Rapids Press, and previously served as 2009-10 editor in chief of Central Michigan Life, the award-winning student publication of Central Michigan University.
I was named 2009 College Journalist of the Year by the Michigan Press Association, and graduated from CMU in May 2010 with a degree in journalism and media design. I spent the summer of 2009 at The Grand Rapids Press as a copy desk intern, and summer 2008 at The Saginaw News as a metro reporting intern.
